The darkness tour to Old Tjikko
In the shadow of the foot of Fulufjället lies the village of Mörkret, which inspired us to go on a snowshoe trip during the dark hours of the day. Mörkret translates to Darkness.
At nightfall, we put on our headlamps, snowshoes, and then hike to the world’s oldest tree, Old Tjikko. All tours will have different conditions. Cloudy and dark, full moon or Northern Lights, Mother Nature determines the conditions of our hiking tour.
